Pursuant to § 10 of the Municipal Home Rule Law and this chapter,
the Town Board hereby enacts a standard schedule of fees and charges associated
with the administration and operation of the Town of Olive, including all
Boards and Commissions.
The purpose of this chapter is to provide for a single comprehensive
schedule of fees and charges to be levied in the administration of town laws,
ordinances, regulations and resolutions, exclusive of sewer connection impact
fees. The schedule will be set forth in a resolution to be adopted by the
Town Board. It will permit the annual review and updating of fees consistent
with the annual budgeting process, based on the actual costs to the town of
providing those services, by the simple process of adopting and amending,
from time to time, a resolution containing such fees.
The fees set forth in the resolution referred to in § 91-2 above shall apply to the provisions of all local laws, ordinances, regulations and resolutions of the Town of Olive adopted prior to the date of this chapter and shall supersede any specific fee contained or referred to therein. To the extent that fees or charges levied in such other regulation are not included in this standard schedule, such fee shall remain effective pending incorporation in this standard schedule.
The Town Board of the Town of Olive is hereby authorized to adopt a
resolution and, from time to time, amend such resolution as in the opinion
of the Town Board is necessary, which resolution shall enact and adopt a standard
schedule of fees and charges associated with the administration and operation
of the Town of Olive, including all Boards and Commissions thereof.
Such resolution and any amendments thereto may add to or delete, from
time to time, as in the judgment of the Town Board is necessary, to eliminate
fees or provide for additional fees or change the amounts of said fees as
set forth in the resolution.
