The purpose of this chapter is to provide for the defense and indemnification
of city officers and employees pursuant to § 18 of the Public Officers
Law.
The City of Kingston hereby confers the benefits of § 18 of
the Public Officers Law upon its officers and employees subject to the limitations
set forth in said § 18.
The City of Kingston hereby agrees to be held liable for the costs incurred
under § 18 of the Public Officers Law subject to the limitations
set forth in said § 18.
