The provisions of this article imposing a time
limit on parking shall not relieve any person of the duty to observe
other and more restrictive provisions prohibiting or limiting the
stopping, standing or parking of vehicles as set forth in N.J.S.A.
39:4-138, any other New Jersey statute or as hereinafter provided.
No person shall park a vehicle at any time upon any of the streets or parts thereof described in Schedule I (§ 138-38), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
A.
Prohibited parking. No person shall park a vehicle between the hours specified in Schedule II (§ 138-39) of any day, unless otherwise indicated, upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in said Schedule II, attached to and made a part of this chapter.
B.
All-night parking.
(1)
No motor vehicle or vehicle propelled by any other
power shall be parked or left standing on or along Township streets,
roads, highways or avenues in the Township of Marlboro from 2:00 a.m.
to 6:00 a.m., local time governing.
(2)
In the event it shall become necessary for any resident
to leave motor vehicles on the Township streets, roads, highways or
avenues during the above-mentioned hours, such resident shall notify
the Police Department of the Township of Marlboro of such event. In
such case, the Police Department of the Township of Marlboro shall
be authorized and directed to grant an exemption from this chapter
for the period in question.
No person shall stop or stand a vehicle during the times specified in Schedule III (§ 138-40) of any day, unless otherwise indicated, upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in said Schedule III, attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall stop or stand a vehicle during the times specified in Schedule IIIA (§ 138-40.1) of any day, unless otherwise indicated, upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in said Schedule IIIA, attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall park a vehicle for longer than the time limit shown in Schedule IV (§ 138-41) at any time between the hours listed in said Schedule IV of any day, unless otherwise indicated, upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in said Schedule IV, attached to and made a part of this chapter.
