Milton Borough Council hereby signifies its
intention to organize an Authority under the Municipality Authorities
Act of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, approved the second day of
May, A.D. 1945, P.L. 382, as amended.[1]

The President and Secretary of the Milton Borough
Council are hereby authorized and directed to execute and seal Articles
of Incorporation on behalf of the Borough of Milton in the following
form.[1]

are on file and available for inspection in the office of the Borough
Secretary.
The officers of the Borough are authorized and
directed to:
A.Â
Publish notice of this article and of the time when
the Articles of Incorporation will be filed with the Secretary of
the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
B.Â
File said articles together with proofs of publication.
C.Â
Pay the necessary fees and expenses.
D.Â
Do any and all other things necessary and required
to complete the incorporation of the Milton Municipal Authority.
The proposed Authority shall have and possess
all the powers, rights and privileges given it by the provisions of
the Act of Assembly under which it is incorporated.[1] The first and primary purpose of said Authority is the
acquiring, holding, constructing, improving, maintaining and operating,
owning and leasing, either in the capacity of lessor or lessee, sewers,
sewer systems or parts thereof and sewage treatment works, including
works for the treating and disposing of industrial waste.
