The following shall be and are hereby declared
to be the fire limits of the Borough of Milton: beginning at a point
on the east bank of the Susquehanna River at the south line of Milton
Borough and extending thence eastwardly along the south line of Milton
Borough to a point 200 feet east of the east line of South Front Street;
thence northwardly parallel with the east line of South Front Street
to Ferry Lane; thence northwardly along the west line of Mill Alley
to Mahoning Street; thence eastwardly on Mahoning Street to a point
where the west line of Walnut Alley protracted southwardly would intersect
Mahoning Street; thence northwardly along the west line of Walnut
Alley and the west line thereof protracted southwardly to the north
line of the first alley south of and parallel with Centre Street and
said line protracted eastwardly to the west line of Filbert Street;
thence northwardly to the center line of Centre Street; thence eastwardly
to the right-of-way of the Pennsylvania Railroad Company; thence northwardly
along the west line of the right-of-way of the main line of Pennsylvania
Railroad Company to a point where the south line of the first alley
north of and parallel with Walnut Street protracted eastwardly would
intersect said railroad right-of-way; thence westwardly along the
south line of the first alley north of and parallel with Walnut Street
and an extension eastward thereof to the west line of River Alley;
thence northwardly along the west line of River Alley to the north
line of Milton Borough; thence westwardly along the north line of
Milton Borough to the Susquehanna River; and thence southwardly along
the eastern bank of the west branch of the Susquehanna River to the
place of beginning.
