In addition to all other days of the week, games of chance commonly known as "bingo" and "raffles," as provided by the laws of the State of New Jersey, may also be conducted in the Village of Ridgefield Park on the first day of the week, commonly known and designated as "Sunday," provided the applicant for the license to conduct such game otherwise qualifies under the provisions of the aforementioned statutes of the State of New Jersey and the rules and regulations of the Legalized Games of Chance Control Commission, and specifically provided that the organization conducting the games is a charitable, religious or other organization specifically qualifying under the provisions of the aforementioned statutes.

The Village Clerk of the Village of Ridgefield Park is hereby designated as the "issuing authority," as defined under N.J.A.C. 13:47-1.1, to issue any licenses relating to games of chance within the Village of Ridgefield Park and is authorized and directed to issue said licenses as permitted by law and the regulations adopted thereunder.
Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any of the provisions of this chapter shall be punishable, upon conviction, as provided in Chapter 1, General Provisions, Article II, General Penalty.
