No person shall move, or cause to be moved, from any place within the Township of Bethlehem to another place therein, or place beyond the limits thereof, any household goods in bulk, without first securing from the Township Treasurer a permit for such moving or transportation.
Any person desiring such a permit for the removal or transportation of household goods, in the manner described above, shall make application to the Township Treasurer setting forth his name and address, and also setting forth the names of the owners or reputed owners of the property to be moved, the address and location from which the property is to be removed, and the new address or location of the place to which the property is to be moved.

The Township Treasurer shall, upon application being made as provided for in § 159-2, issue a permit for which a charge, as established from time to time by resolution, will be made, setting forth the name of the permittee, as well as the names of the owners of the goods to be moved, the address from which the goods are to be moved and the address to which the goods are to be delivered. This permit shall be signed by the Township Treasurer or the Deputy Treasurer or an employee of said Township Treasurer.
Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter, upon conviction, shall be fined not more than $300 and, in default of payment of fine and costs, imprisoned not more than 90 days.
