There shall be established in the Township, in accordance with the provisions of State Statutes made and provided, a Municipal Court to be known as the Municipal Court of the Township of Deptford.

a. 
The Township Council shall, by resolution, have power to appoint the Judge of the Municipal Court to preside over the Municipal Court and shall be the Department Head of the Municipal Court.
b. 
The Township Manager shall appoint the Municipal Court Administrator, any Deputy Administrator and such other Clerks, officers and employees of the Municipal Court.

The jurisdiction of the court shall be in accordance with N.J.S.A. and the Rules of the Supreme Court of the State of New Jersey.

Any person requesting discovery relating to any matter to be heard in the Municipal Court of Deptford Township or arising within the jurisdiction of the Municipal Court of Deptford shall pay a discovery fee of $20. In the event such request relates to a matter involving the State Police, the fee shall be payable to the Municipal Prosecutor.
