The purpose of this Article is to protect the residents of the
Village of Suffern from possible dangerous animals kept within the
Village of Suffern.
For the purpose of this Article, the terms used herein are defined
as follows:
An individual, firm, partnership, limited association, corporation,
voluntary association and/or other legal entity.
Any house, garage, barn, building or structure of any kind
or nature.
Any animal, bird or reptile of a species dangerous to human
beings or savage in nature living ordinarily at large and not customarily
made tame or gentle by long-continued association with man without
regard to whether a specific animal or reptile is considered a pet
or domesticated by its keeper or possessor.
No wild animal, bird or reptile will be allowed outside the
premises of the owner of said wild animal, bird or reptile.
