No circus, traveling show, theatrical performance, play, exhibition or concert shall be produced, carried on or conducted unless a license therefor has been granted by the City Clerk and the fee therefor paid as hereinafter provided.
A. 
An applicant for such a license shall present to the Clerk an application signed by him, stating his full name and residence and the purpose and place for which he seeks a license, which application shall be submitted with the required fee.
B. 
Every license granted pursuant to this article shall apply only to the person and for the purpose and place mentioned therein.
The fee for such license shall be as provided for in Chapter 191, Fee Schedule.

Any person who violates any provision of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be punished by a fine not exceeding $500 or by imprisonment for a term not exceeding 90 days, or both. A separate offense shall be deemed committed on each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues.
