Fee for gun permit — See Ch. 191.
No person shall fire or discharge any cannon, gun, revolver, toy pistol or firearm of any kind or description, whether the same be loaded with blank or full charge.
This chapter shall not apply to any military exercise, nor to members of the Police Department while on duty, nor to such residents to whom a written permit to carry weapons shall have been issued in accordance with state laws.

Any person who violates any provsion of this chapter shall upon conviction thereof be punished by a fine not exceeding $1,000, or by imprisonment for term not exceeding 90 days, or both. A separate offense shall be subject to the foregoing penalty and shall be subject to a minimum mandatory fine of not less than $1,000.
