No dog shall be permitted within any portion of any public park
within the City, except when leashed, upon designated pathways and
designated areas as provided hereinafter.
Except as otherwise provided by ordinance, the City Manager
may designate within any public park within the City of Englewood
pathways and dog run areas in which dogs are permitted; provided,
however, that the City Council may; by resolution, rescind such designation
or designate other pathways and areas.
Any person having ownership or control of any dog within a public
park within the City of Englewood in violation hereof, shall, upon
conviction, be subject to a fine not to exceed $250 or imprisonment
for a term not to exceed 30 days, or both.
