All amendments to this chapter shall be in accordance with the
provisions of Village Law applicable thereto. Any proposed amendment
shall be submitted to the Village Planning Board, if such exists,
for report and recommendation prior to final action thereon by the
Village Board.
Except in the case of a general Village-wide rezoning, whenever
a change in district lines on the Zoning Map is to be considered at
a public hearing, the Village Clerk shall, no later than 10 days prior
to the date of such hearing, mail written notice of the hearing to
all persons owning property within 300 feet of the area for which
such change is proposed. Such notice shall include the time and place
of the hearing and the nature of the proposed change. For the purposes
of this section, names on the latest completed assessment roll may
be used.
