While in a park, all persons shall conduct themselves in a proper manner and, in particular, everyone shall comply with the following rules in all parks of the Borough.
No one shall cut, deface, injure, remove or disturb any tree, shrub, bush flowers, soil, building, fence, bench or other structure or markings or writing of any kind on any building, fence, bench or other park structure is prohibited.

No one shall possess or consume an alcoholic beverage, cannabis, cannabis item(s), or illegal or hallucinogenic drugs.
No one shall carry or possess firearms of any kind, including air rifles, spring guns, paint ball guns, bow and arrow or sling shots, or any other form of weapons that pose a danger to human or wildlife safety. Hunting and trapping is also prohibited.
No one shall litter and dispose of any trash or garbage on any athletic field, park or playground. This also prohibits littering of ponds, lake, streams or other bodies of water in or adjacent to any park with any substance, matter or thing, liquid or solid, which will or may result in the pollution of the waters.
Fires are not permitted in grills without first obtaining a permit. Permits may be obtained at Borough Hall from the Office of the Fire Marshal.
All animals must be leashed while in the parks and owners are responsible for clean up of their pets. No pets are allowed during special events. No pets are allowed on ball playing fields at any time. (Exception: This section shall not apply to companion animals for the disabled.)
No one shall solicit, sell or offer for sale any goods except by special permit. No paste, glue, tack or adhesive posting of any sign in park areas are allowed without permit to do so.
All sporting activities are permitted only in areas specifically marked or designated for that sport. All leagues and teams must obtain a permit from the Department of Parks and Recreation for use of said fields. Leagues and teams may not use the fields unless a permit has been obtained.
No one shall participate in a public assemblage except by special permit pursuant to Chapter 238, Assemblies, Public, of the Code of the Borough of Red Bank.
Skates, skateboards, bicycles and motorized vehicles are prohibited from ball fields, the track and all passive recreation areas.
No golf is permitted in parks, including, but not limited to, ball fields at any time.
