The Conshohocken Borough Council may from time to time amend,
supplement, change, modify or repeal this Chapter by proceeding in
the following manner. Borough Council may request the assistance of
the Planning Commission in the drafting of recommendations to update
and revise the ordinance as necessary The Borough Council, by resolution
adopted at a regular or special meeting, shall fix the time and place
of a public hearing on the proposed amendment and cause public notice
thereof to be given as follows:
A. By publishing a notice thereof once each week for two successive
weeks in a newspaper of general circulation in the Borough. The first
notice shall not be more than 30 days or less than 14 days from the
date of the hearing.
B. The notice shall state the time and place of the hearing, the general
nature of the proposed amendment and that full opportunity to be heard
will be given to any citizen and all parties in interest attending
such hearing.
C. Whenever a proposed amendment affects a particular property, then
there shall be posted upon said property or premises, at such place
or places as the Borough Council may direct, notice of said proposed
amendment.

All proposed amendments before adoption shall be referred to
the Borough Planning Commission and the Montgomery County Planning
Commission at least 30 days prior to the public hearing, for recommendation
and report, which shall not be binding.

Nothing in this Chapter or in the Borough Land Subdivision Regulations
of 2002 as hereby amended shall be construed to affect any suit or
proceeding pending in any court, or any rights acquired, or liability
incurred, or any cause or causes of action acquired or existing under
the Land Subdivision Regulations prior to this amendment; nor shall
any just or legal right or remedy of any character be lost, impaired
or affected by this Chapter.
