GENERAL REFERENCES
Village Justice Court — See Ch. 15.
As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
APPEARANCE TICKET
A written notice issued and subscribed by a police officer or the officers and employees of the Village of Farmingdale referred to in § 7-2 directing a designated person to appear in the Village Justice Court of the Village of Farmingdale at a designated future time in connection with an alleged violation of a designated offense under the provisions of the Code of the Village of Farmingdale.

A. 
The following persons are hereby authorized to issue appearance tickets under the provisions of § 150.10 of the Criminal Procedure Law of the State of New York and under the Code of the Village of Farmingdale: Superintendent of Buildings, Housing Inspector, Superintendent of Public Works, Village Clerk-Treasurer, Code Enforcement Officer and Parking Meter Attendant of the Village of Farmingdale.

B. 
The Board of Trustees is hereby empowered by resolution, upon its own motion, at any time to authorize certain persons to issue appearance tickets.
