The Board of Trustees shall have the authority, pursuant to
the provisions of § 1640 of the Vehicle and Traffic Law
of the State of New York, to establish traffic regulations by resolution
deemed necessary by the Board of Trustees to regulate, warn or guide
traffic. Such regulations shall be incorporated into and form a part
of this chapter. A violation of any such regulation shall be deemed
a violation of this chapter. The Superintendent of Public Works or
an officer, employee or agency authorized by the Board of Trustees
of this Village shall install and maintain traffic control devices
when and as required under the provisions of this chapter or to otherwise
make effective the provisions of this chapter or any regulation, rule,
or order issued in accordance with this chapter.
