Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:9-140.10, the position of Chief Financial
Officer of the Borough of Clayton is hereby created.
The compensation to be paid for said position shall be established
each year by provision therefor in the Salary Ordinance of the Borough
of Clayton.[1]

Editor's Note: The currently effective Salary Ordinance is
on file in the office of the Borough Clerk and is available for examination
during office hours.
The Chief Financial Officer shall possess such qualifications
as are prescribed by N.J.S.A. 40A:9-140.1 et seq., together with any
amendments or supplements thereto, and such applicable regulations
as shall be promulgated by the Division of Local Government Services.
The Chief Financial Officer shall perform such duties as are
required by law and as shall be prescribed by the Mayor and Council
of the Borough of Clayton.
