The road shall be cleared and graded to a width of 44 feet.
All stones, trees, roots, stumps and foreign materials shall be removed
from the property. The finished road will have a twenty-four-foot
roadway, and on each side, ten-foot shoulders. In the twenty-four-foot
width, if clay, sand or topsoil is encountered, then this material
must be removed to a depth of six inches, and loam conforming to New
York State Department of Public Works specifications of 4L will be
brought in and shaped. A four-inch crown shall be maintained along
the center line on the twenty-four-foot roadway. After shaping, the
loam shall be rolled with a ten-ton roller. Two inches after compaction
of grey stone dust shall be laid on top of the loam and shall be shaped
and rolled.
The ten-foot shoulders shall be graded and raised so as to maintain
the stormwaters on the roadway. The shoulders shall be seeded.
No stormwater shall be allowed to flow out onto the Village
roads. Any low spots in the proposed roadway shall have provisions
provided in order to handle the stormwaters. These provisions will
be accomplished with stormwater drainage rings connected to catch
basins with Flockhart Type 683, Code 60682 curb inlets or equivalents
with ten-foot concrete curbing on each side of the inlet. The catch
basins will be connected across the road with eight-inch corrugated
galvanized piping.
A survey of the road with existing and proposed elevations and
all drainage structures indicated on the map shall be presented to
the Board for review by the Village Engineer. A review fee of $150
shall be charged to the developer.
Each phase of the construction shall be inspected and approved
by the Village Engineer before proceeding to the next step. An inspection
fee of $200 shall be charged for each inspection.
