Compensation for the Mayor shall be in the amount of $2,300
per year, payable in monthly installments.
Members of Borough Council shall receive no compensation.
It is the intent of Borough Council that the change in the amount
of compensation for members of Borough Council shall take effect at
the earliest possible date authorized by Pennsylvania law. Any member
of Council elected or appointed after the effective date of this article
shall receive no compensation in accordance with this article. Any
current member of Council shall receive no compensation in accordance
with this article after such Council member's current term of
office expires.
