This chapter shall be known and may be cited as the "Zelienople Borough Abandoned and Junked Vehicle Ordinance."
The following words and phrases, when used in this chapter, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except in those instances where the context clearly indicates a different meaning.
JUNKED VEHICLE
Any vehicle outside of a fully enclosed building not in full and complete working order and without current registration plates, or any vehicle or parts thereof stored for resale as junk metal, or any vehicle or parts thereof outside of a fully enclosed building stored for selling parts therefrom.
PERSON
Every natural person, association or corporation. Whenever used in any clause prescribing or imposing a fine or penalty, or imprisonment in default thereof, the term as applied to associations shall mean any member thereof, and as applied to corporations shall mean the president or secretary thereof.
It shall be unlawful for any person to store any abandoned or junked vehicle or parts thereof on private or public property within the geographical boundaries of the Borough of Zelienople, Butler County, Pennsylvania, for any portion of the 24 hours of any day measured from midnight to midnight. The storage of any vehicle or parts thereof, as hereinafter prohibited in this section, for more than one day shall constitute a separate and distinct unlawful act for any portion of a day.

Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any provision of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $1,000 plus costs and, in default of payment of said fine and costs, to a term of imprisonment not to exceed 30 days. Each day that a violation continues shall constitute a separate offense.
