Parking for the nonresidents of the Township of Washington is hereby prohibited in the following described areas known as the "Lower Bank Landing": the entire frontage of Lot 10, Block 53B, owned by the Township of Washington, also known as the "Lower Bank Landing," extending from the bank of the Mullica River to the southwest corner of Lot 9, Block 53B, a distance of approximately 60 feet.
The Township Committee of the Township of Washington shall promulgate such regulations as it deems appropriate by resolution to effectuate the administration of this article by way of designating appropriate stickers, tags, permits or the like to Township residents at such cost as the Township Committee may deem reasonable to cover administrative expenses. Such stickers, tags, etc., shall be for the purpose of facilitating enforcement of this article and designating those vehicles permitted to park upon the above-described lands.
Penalties for violation of this article or any regulations promulgated thereunder shall be for the first offense, a fine not to exceed the sum of $50 and for a second offense, a fine not to exceed $100 plus imprisonment in the county jail and/or community service in the discretion of the Municipal Judge for a period not to exceed 10 days.
