The owner of any vehicle stored by the Township of Abington Police Department (hereinafter the "Police Department"), whether such storage is the result of towing, impoundment or other reason, shall be charged an initial storage fee of $25. An additional fee of $15 per day shall accrue after the third day of receipt of the notice provided for in § 158A-2, below.
Whenever the Police Department shall store a vehicle, the Police Department shall notify the owner of record, by certified or registered mail, return receipt requested, of the following:
A. 
That the vehicle is in storage;
B. 
The place where the vehicle is stored;
C. 
The manner in which the vehicle may be removed by the owner from the place of storage;
D. 
The documentation required to be presented in order for the Police Department to release the vehicle;
E. 
The amount due for towing and the initial fee;
F. 
That an additional storage fee of $15 per day shall be charged commencing on the third day after receipt of the notice; and
G. 
Contact information for making arrangements to retrieve the vehicle.
