Effective January 1, 2008, the Mayor of the Borough of Jacobus shall receive annual compensation in the amount of $1,440, payable in equal quarterly installments of $360.

Effective January 1, 2008, with the exception of the President of Borough Council, all Councilpersons for the Borough of Jacobus shall receive annual compensation in the amount of $1,200, payable in equal quarterly installments of $300. Effective January 31, 2008, the Borough Council President shall receive annual compensation in the amount of $1,320, payable in equal quarterly installments of $330.

A. 
The compensation of the Borough Tax Collector for the collection of all taxes shall be 4% on all collections.
B. 
The Tax Collector is authorized to provide tax certifications upon request by the public and further is authorized to charge no more than his or her expenses in connection therewith and retain for reimbursement of such expenses a fee of up to $20 per certification.
C. 
The Tax Collector is authorized to provide, upon request, and is further authorized to charge no more than his or her expenses in connection therewith and retain for reimbursement of such expenses, fees of up to the following:
(1) 
Duplicate or memo bills: $3 per bill requested.
(2) 
Duplicate receipts: $1 per receipt requested.
D. 
The Tax Collector is authorized to charge the actual fee imposed by the Tax Collector's bank for each check returned due to nonsufficient funds.
