A.
Pursuant to § 12 of the Town Law of the State of New York
and subject to a motion for a permissive referendum, the classification
of the Town of Smithtown be and is hereby changed from Town of the
Second Class to Town of the First Class.
B.
Adopted by resolution of the Town Board of the Town
of Smithtown May, 21, 1991, effective January 1, 1992, and filed with
the Secretary of State January 6, 1992, the Town of Smithtown changed
its classification to Suburban Town.
