No mobile home park shall be developed, altered or extended except in strict conformance with the provisions of this chapter. No lawful mobile home park developed and operating prior to the effective date of this chapter shall be added to or extended except in strict conformance with the provisions of this chapter. Any lawful mobile home park developed and operating prior to the effective date of this chapter and subsequently discontinued for a period of one year shall not thereafter be reestablished except in conformity with all provisions of this chapter.
In case any mobile home park is erected, constructed, reconstructed, altered, repaired, converted, or maintained, or any building, structure, or land is used in violation of this chapter, the appropriate authorities of the Town of Chesapeake Beach, in addition to other remedies, may institute injunction, mandamus, or another appropriate action or proceeding to prevent such unlawful erection, construction, reconstruction, alteration, repair, conversion, maintenance or use; to restrain, correct, or abate such violation; or to prevent any illegal act, conduct, business, or use in or about such premises. The rights and remedies provided in this chapter are cumulative and are in addition to all other remedies provided by law.
A. 
For any and every violation of the provisions of this chapter, the owner, general agent, or contractor of a mobile home park where such violation has been committed or shall exist; the owners, general agent, contractor, lessee, or tenant of any part of a mobile home park in which part such violations have been committed or shall exist; the general agent, architect, builder, contractor, or any other person who commits, takes part, or assists in any such violation or who maintains any mobile home park in which any such violation shall exist shall be, on conviction thereof, guilty of a misdemeanor and liable to a fine or penalty not to exceed $100.
B. 
Whenever any such person specified in Subsection A above shall have been notified by the Mayor and Town Council in writing than he is violating this chapter, such person shall commence correction of all violations within five days after notice and correct all violations within 30 days of notice. If corrections are not commenced within five days or completed within 30 days, each day that a violation continues shall be considered a separate offense punished by like fine.
