No applications for licenses or permits will be accepted or
considered by any official of the Town until the Treasurer certifies
that neither the applicant nor the owner(s) of any property involved
in the application will have any outstanding indebtedness to the Town
as of the effective date of the requested license or permit.

All persons operating a business or engaging in any activity
which requires a county, state or federal license shall obtain or
maintain such a license while engaging in said business or activity
within Chesapeake Beach. The failure to have the required license
while operating such a business or engaging in such an activity shall
constitute a municipal infraction and, upon conviction thereof by
a court of competent jurisdiction, shall be punishable by a fine of
$100 per occurrence. Each day a violation occurs shall constitute
a separate offense.
Except as provided by county or state law, all businesses within
Chesapeake Beach may be open for any duration and at any time of day.
