[HISTORY: Adopted by the Board of Commissioners (now City
Council) of the City of Atlantic City 8-22-1929 by Ord. No. 49-1929. Amendments noted where applicable.]
The official flag of the City of Atlantic City shall be made
up in the following manner: It shall consist of three panels of equal
dimension. The center panel shall be white, with an impress of the
coat of arms of the City of Atlantic City in the center thereof, and
the outside panels shall be of a medium light blue color, and these
three panels shall be perpendicular when the flag is in a horizontal
position. A gold-color fringe is to be attached to the three outer
edges of the flag. The size of the panels and the coat of arms shall
be proportionate to the size of the flag.
The drawing of said flag as described in § 28-1 hereof is hereto attached and made a part of this chapter by this reference thereto.[1]

After the passage of this chapter, the flag as described in § 28-1 of this chapter is hereby adopted as the official flag of the City of Atlantic City, New Jersey.
