As used in this article, the following terms shall have the
meanings indicated:
The contract negotiated by the City of Atlantic City and
the employee or his labor representative as to rates of pay, hours
of work, fringe benefits, working conditions, safety equipment, procedures
for adjustment of disputes and grievances and all other related matters.
Supplemental compensation upon retirement, measured by the
number of full days of earned and unused accumulated sick leave, as
prescribed and limited by an employee's respective collective
bargaining agreement.
Any municipal employee who has received or shall receive any
portion of his or her terminal leave shall not be allowed to be reinstated
or to resume active, normal duties as an employee of the City of Atlantic
City but shall be compelled to retire at the conclusion of his or
her terminal leave benefits, as prescribed by the appropriate collective
bargaining agreement.
