It shall be unlawful to operate any motorboat or boats upon
the waters within or bounding the City of Atlantic City unless said
motorboats shall be equipped with devices to prevent excessive noise.
All exhaust pipes carrying exhaust gases from the engine shall
be underwater to such depth as will prevent the escape of said gases
or the noises coming from the exhaust of said motor, and it shall
be unlawful to operate any such motorboat or boats unless the exhaust
pipes carrying exhaust gases from the engine or motor shall be underwater
as herein provided for.

It shall be unlawful to operate any motorboat or boats upon
the inland waters within or bounding the City of Atlantic City at
a speed in excess of seven miles per hour.

Any person or persons who shall violate any of the provisions
of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be subjected to a
fine in a sum not exceeding $2,000 or be imprisoned in the City or
county jail for a term not exceeding 90 days, or both.
