A. 
Copies of records may be purchased for the fee prescribed by law or regulation. If a fee is not prescribed by law or regulation, the fee shall be the actual cost of duplicating the record; provided, however, that where the actual cost for duplication of a record exceeds the rate stated below, the actual cost shall be imposed:
(1) 
Standard-sized paper documents, up to 8 1/2 by 14 inches in size:
(a) 
Letter size (8 1/2 by 11 inches): $0.05 per page.
(b) 
Legal size (8 1/2 by 14 inches): $0.07 per page.
(2) 
Police reports and documents.
(a) 
Police accident reports, same as Subsection A(1) above.
(b) 
Making and supplying of prints of photographs taken in connection of any accident, investigation or any other matter under the jurisdiction of the Police Department:

Four-by-six or smaller photos: $5.
[2] 
Larger than four-by-six photos: $20.
(3) 
Requests for discovery from the Atlantic City Police Department shall be submitted in accordance with N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 et seq. and Rule 3:13-5. A deposit check for $10 shall be included with all discovery requests.
B. 
Where the discovery must be obtained from an entity other than the City of Atlantic City, e.g., another police department, the actual cost paid to the other entity shall be paid by the requestor.
C. 
A special service charge shall be imposed, in addition to the actual cost of duplicating the record, where the nature, format, manner of collation or volume of printed matter is such that it cannot be reproduced by ordinary document-copying equipment in ordinary business size or where such records involve an extraordinary expenditure of time and effort to accommodate the request. The requestor shall have the opportunity to review and object to the special service charge prior to it being incurred.

Any person requesting a criminal record check by the Atlantic City Police Department shall be assessed a fee of $10 for said check, said fee being per individual whose criminal record is researched.

Any person requesting a copy of a photograph from the Atlantic City Police Department shall be assessed a fee of $10 per copy per photograph.
Any request for a police report, criminal record check or a copy of a photograph shall be made during the hours in which the City Cashier is on duty. It shall be necessary for anyone making the request to secure a receipt from said Cashier.
There shall be no charge assessed to another governmental agency for the release and/or exchange of copies of reports, records or photographs covered by this article.

A. 
The Police Department will take fingerprints for a fee of $10 per person. This fee is for the taking of fingerprints only and does not include fees required by any other state or local agency.
B. 
Any applicant applying for fingerprinting for the purpose of obtaining a permit to purchase a firearm shall be exempt from such fee.

A. 
Recruit training. The fee to be charged for attendance at the Atlantic City Police Academy by recruits from sending agencies outside of Atlantic County is $700 per recruit; for sending agencies within Atlantic County, the charge is $500 per recruit.
B. 
K-9 training. The fees to be charged outside agencies for K-9 training in the Atlantic City Police Academy K-9 Training Course are as follows:
(1) 
Basic course: $1,000.
(2) 
Scent course: $750.
