The provisions of this article imposing a time limit on parking shall not relieve any person of the duty to observe other and more restrictive provisions prohibiting or limiting the stopping, standing or parking of vehicles as set forth in N.J.S.A. 39:4-138, any other New Jersey statute or as hereinafter provided.

No person shall park a vehicle at any time upon any of the streets or parts thereof described in Schedule XIII (§ 243-71), attached to and made a part of this chapter, except as may be set forth therein.
No person shall stop or stand a vehicle upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule XIV (§ 243-72), attached to and made a part of this chapter.[1]

No person shall park a vehicle between the hours specified in Schedule XV (§ 243-73) of any day, unless otherwise indicated, upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in said Schedule XV, attached to and made a part of this chapter.[1]

A. 
No person shall cause or permit to be parked any truck, tractor, trailer, semitrailer, boat, bus or omnibus upon any public street, road or highway or publicly owned property in the City of Atlantic City between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. This section shall not include any vehicles of less than 8,000 pounds, but maintains the prohibition against boats and boat trailers of any weight. Boats and boat trailers shall be permitted on City streets from September 10 through October 1 and from April 15 through May 15 of each year for seasonal preparation.
B. 
An Atlantic City resident who owns and operates a licensed Atlantic City Jitney on a regular basis shall be permitted to apply for a residential parking permit as provided for in § 243-46 et seq. of this article.

No nonresident of the City of Atlantic City shall park a vehicle for longer than the time limits listed herein upon any of the streets or parts of streets described herein:

No person shall cause or permit to be parked any vehicle of more than 8,000 pounds on any property in the City of Atlantic City zoned residential or utilized as residential property. The provisions of this section shall not apply to Atlantic City licensed jitneys parked on property owned and occupied or resided in by jitney owners.
No person shall stop or stand a vehicle during the times specified in Schedule XVI (§ 243-74) of any day, unless otherwise indicated, upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in said Schedule XVI, attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall park a vehicle for longer than the time limit shown in Schedule XVII (§ 243-75) at any time between the hours listed in said Schedule XVII of any day, unless otherwise indicated, upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in said Schedule XVII, attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall park a vehicle at any time between June 15 and September 30 upon any of the streets or parts thereof described in Schedule XVIII (§ 243-76), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall park a vehicle upon any of the streets or parts thereof described in Schedule XIX (§ 243-77) except at the angle designated and only within the painted white stall lines.
The locations described in Schedule XX (§ 243-78), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as loading zones, and no person shall stop or stand a vehicle at any of said locations except for loading or unloading materials.
The locations described in Schedule XXI (§ 243-79), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as taxi stands.

The locations described in Subsection A of Schedule XXII (§ 243-80A), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as bus stops.

The locations described in Subsection B of Schedule XXII (§ 243-80B), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as jitney stops.
