[HISTORY: Adopted by the Village Board of the Village of
Dane 4-1-1996 as Secs. 5-2-10 and 5-2-11 of the 1996 Code. Amendments noted where
applicable.]
The Villages of Dane and Waunakee and Towns of Westport, Dane,
Vienna and Springfield (WWDDVS) have established the Responding Emergency
Medical Service District, which serves the residents of the Village
of Dane. This district shall be responsible for the program of providing
emergency medical services.
The Dane Village Board shall appropriate funds for EMS operations
and for such apparatus and equipment used by EMS personnel as the
District Board may deem expedient and necessary to maintain efficiency
and properly serve the Village of Dane.
The WWDDVS shall be organized and governed pursuant to its bylaws.
No person shall interfere with emergency medical (EMS) personnel
in the performance of their duties.
