[HISTORY: Adopted by the Borough Council of the Borough of
Mount Joy 9-12-1977 by Ord. No. 391 (Ch. 1, Part 1C, of the 1992 Code
of Ordinances). Amendments noted where applicable.]

Borough Council shall, by resolution, appoint an independent
auditor every year. The auditor shall make an independent examination
of the accounting records of the Borough for each fiscal year and
perform all other duties and exercise all other powers as authorized
by the Borough Code, Act of February 1, 1966, P.L. (1965) 1656, No.
581, 53 P.S. § 46005(7).
The office of elected Borough Auditor is hereby abolished.
