Borough Council directs its Roadmaster to post official "No Parking in Cul-De-Sac" signs at each of the above-designated locations in such manner and in such number that motor vehicle operators in or entering into any of the designated culs-de-sac will be warned that parking is prohibited within the culs-de-sac.
[Added 5-8-2007 by Ord. No. 316]
C.
Parking is prohibited at any location at Town Center Shopping Center controlled by a no-parking sign established by the Central Bucks Regional Police Department or by the shopping center owner. "Sign" shall include but not be limited to painted markings on the paving, on any building or a traditional sign.
[Added 5-8-2007 by Ord. No. 316]
It shall be unlawful for any person to park or allow to remain parked on any streets any vehicle other than a passenger car [which shall not include any bus, pickup truck (MGW 7,000 pounds), motor home or passenger car attached to a trailer of any kind].
[Amended 5-8-2007 by Ord. No. 316; 8-11-2020 by Ord. No. 411; 12-8-2020 by Ord. No. 413]
A.
Any person who violates any provision of this article shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $25, along with costs of prosecution; provided, however, it shall be the duty of any police officer enforcing the provisions of this article to attach to or place securely upon every vehicle involved in a violation of this article a notice stating that the vehicle was parked in violation of this article and providing instructions to the owner or driver of the offending vehicle, that if he or she will report to the offices of the Borough of New Britain and pay the sum of $25 within 48 hours after the time of the notice, then that individual will avoid prosecution for the offense and will not be charged court costs for prosecution.
B.
Any individual who parks a motor vehicle in an area lawfully posted for handicapped parking when the vehicle in question is not lawfully tagged for handicapped parking purposes will be liable to pay a fine of $35 along with costs of prosecution. Payment of the fine at the offices of the Borough of New Britain within 48 hours after issuance of the citation will permit the recipient of the violation notice to avoid prosecution and the costs of prosecution associated therewith.
C.
Any individual who parks a motor vehicle in a no-parking fire zone established pursuant to § 415-21 of this article will be liable to pay a fine of $75 along with costs of prosecution. Payment of the fine at the offices of the Borough of New Britain within 48 hours after issuance of the citation will permit the recipient of the violation notice to avoid prosecution and the costs of prosecution associated therewith.
The zones described below are hereby established as "No Parking Fire Zones," and it shall be unlawful for any person to park or leave unattended a motor vehicle or tractor at any time in said locations.
A.
That area of road surface adjoining the curbing along the front of the Pine Run Elementary School as marked "No Parking Zone" by yellow paint and "No Parking" signs, including that area adjoining the fire hydrant at that location and extending 50 feet in either direction from the fire hydrant. This area shall be clearly marked as a "No Parking Zone."
B.
That area of road surface adjoining the curb at the shopping center known as Chal-Brit Plaza which adjoins Route 202 in New Britain Borough, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, such as is clearly marked by yellow paint as a "No Parking Fire Zone" with attendant freestanding metal signs indicating that the area is a restricted "No Parking Fire Zone."
