Township of Maplewood, NJ Article XVIII Enforcement of Code

§ 6-81 Individuals authorized to enforce Township Code.

The following individuals shall be and are hereby authorized to enforce the ordinances and provisions of the Code of the Township of Maplewood as those ordinances and provisions apply to the areas of responsibility of their respective departments:

A. The Director of the Department of Public Works and/or his/her designee.

B. All sworn police officers and parking enforcement officers of the Township of Maplewood.

C. All code enforcement inspectors of the Township of Maplewood.

D. All firefighters and Fire Safety Bureau employees of the Township of Maplewood.

E. Health Officer and/or his/her designee.

F. Any Township employee designated by the Maplewood Township Committee.
