The compensation of the elected Tax Collector of Warminster Township (hereafter the "Tax Collector") shall be as set by resolution of the Board of Supervisors in accordance with the provisions of the Local Tax Collection Law.[1]

The elected Tax Collector is hereby authorized and empowered to charge and collect a fee in advance of or concurrently with the issuance of a copy of a tax bill, a copy of a tax receipt, or a tax certification, whether to the taxpayer or a third party. There shall be a returned check fee for any check not cleared by the financial institution on which the check is drawn. Such fees shall be as set forth from time to time by resolution of the Board of Supervisors.

Whenever the balance in the elected Tax Collector's funds collected for the Township is in excess of $10,000, the elected Tax Collector shall immediately transfer said funds to such account as may be designated by the Township Finance Director.
