The office of elected auditor for the Borough of New Britain
is hereby abolished. The auditors already elected to serve the Borough
may serve the balance of the terms to which they have been elected,
although they shall not audit, settle, or adjust the accounts audited
by any independent auditor appointed by Borough Council.
New Britain Borough Council hereby elects to utilize the services
of an appointed independent auditor who shall be a certified public
accountant or a firm of certified public accounts registered in Pennsylvania.
