This regulation is adopted by the Board under the provisions of MGL c. 111, § 31, in the exercise of its power to protect the public health and welfare.
The purpose of this regulation is to protect, preserve, and maintain the public health by assuring that all applicable codes and regulations are being met when a property changes commercial or industrial use.
The Board shall be notified of any changes of commercial or industrial use at least 14 days before an occupancy permit can be granted. Such a permit shall be required regardless of previous occupancy.
