All sewage bills forwarded from ALCOSAN to the Borough of Verona
for collection shall be deemed delinquent and subject to an immediate
penalty of 5%. In addition to the penalty of 5%, interest shall be
charged at the rate of 12% per year, which interest shall begin on
the due date. For purposes of this section, the due date shall be
30 days from the date of the delinquent notice sent to the resident
by the Borough or its delinquent sewage bill collector.
The Borough of Verona, at its discretion, may enter into an
agreement with any person or agency to serve as the delinquent sewage
bill collector.
