I, Obstructions, adopted 4-29-1924 by Ord. No. 12-1924 (Ch. XXI, Part
2B, of the 1976 Code of Ordinances), as amended.
No person shall place, put, erect, set up or maintain any object
on any sidewalk in the Borough of Verona; provided, however, the following
shall not be deemed a violation of this section:

Temporarily placing goods on the sidewalk during loading or unloading
of any vehicle unless such goods are allowed to remain on said sidewalk
for a longer time than is necessary for such loading or unloading.
Any person, firm or corporation who or which shall violate any
provision of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced
to pay a fine of not more than $1,000 and costs of prosecution or,
in default of payment of such fine and costs, to undergo imprisonment
for not more than 10 days.

7-8-2014, stated that any person who shall violate any provision of
this article or who knowingly files a false report required by this
article shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentence to pay a civil
fine of not more than $1,000.
