[HISTORY: Adopted by the Borough Council of the Borough of

The offices of the elected auditors of the Borough of Verona
are hereby abolished, and in their stead Council will appoint an independent
auditor who shall be a certified public accountant, a firm of certified
public accountants, or a competent firm of public accountants who
will be appointed annually by resolution before the close of the fiscal
year to make an independent examination of the accounting records
of the Borough for such fiscal year.
