Fee: The fees for activities and services performed by the department
in caring out its responsibilities under this code shall be as set
forth in the Fee Schedule established, from time to time, by resolution
of Borough Council of the Borough of Doylestown.

106.4 Penalty: Any person who shall violate a provision
of this code shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to a fine
of not less than $25 nor more than $1,000 or imprisonment for a term
not to exceed 90 days, or both, at the discretion of the court. Each
day that a violation continues after due notice has been served shall
be deemed a separate offense.

112.4 Violation Penalties: Any person who shall
continue any work after having been served with a stop-work order,
except such work as that person is directed to perform to remove a
violation or unsafe condition, shall be guilty of a summary offense,
punishable by a fine of not more than $1,000 and/or by imprisonment
not exceeding 90 days. Each day that a violation continues after due
notice has been served shall be deemed a separate offense.

302.4 Weeds: All premises and exterior property
shall be maintained free from weeds or plant growth in excess of eight
inches. All noxious weeds shall be prohibited. Weeds shall be defined
as all grasses, annual plants and vegetation, other than trees or
shrubs; provided, however, this term shall not include cultivated
flowers and gardens.

304.14 Insect Screens: During the period from April
1 to October 31 of each year, every door, window and other outside
opening utilized or required for ventilation purposes serving any
structure containing habitable rooms, food preparation areas, food
service areas, or any areas where products to be included or utilized
in food for human consumption are processed, manufactured, packaged
or stored, shall be supplied with approved tightly fitting screens
of not less than 16 mesh per inch (16 mesh per 25 mm) and every swinging
door shall have a self-closing device in good working condition.

Exception: Screen doors shall not be required for
out swinging doors or other types of openings which make screening
impractical, provided other approved means, such as air curtains or
insect repellent fans are employed.

602.3 Heat Supply: Every owner and operator of
any building who rents, leases or lets one or more dwelling unit,
sleeping unit, rooming unit, dormitory or guestroom on terms, either
express or implied, to furnish heat to the occupants thereof, shall
supply sufficient heat during the period from October 1 to April 15
of each year to maintain a room temperature of not less than 68º
F. (20º C.) during the hours between 6:30 a.m. and 10:30 p.m.
of each day and not less than 60º F. (16º C.) during other
hours, in all habitable rooms, bathrooms, and toilet rooms.

602.4 Nonresidential Structures: Every enclosed
occupied work space shall be supplied with sufficient heat during
the period from October 1 to April 15, of each year, to maintain a
temperature of not less than 65º F. (18º C.) during all
working hours.
