Any person or entity violating the provisions
of this chapter shall be liable, upon conviction thereof, for a fine
not to exceed $1,250, and/or community service not to exceed 90 days,
and/or imprisonment in the county jail not to exceed 90 days, all
as determined in the discretion of the Municipal Court Judge. In addition
to any of the fines and penalties as set forth above, the City of
Ventnor may take all other appropriate action, including the temporary
termination of water services, the maintenance, repair or replacement
of any equipment as deemed necessary and any other appropriate actions,
to ensure the efficient and cost-effective operation of the water
utility.
