This article is adopted pursuant to the authority granted by
§§ 60.10(2)(c), 60.22(3) and 61.34, Wis. Stats.
Prior to the acceptance by the Town of a dedication for a new
road, such road shall be surfaced with one course of bituminous concrete
pavement of 1 1/2 inches with an AC 120-150 penetration asphalt
surfacing of the same type and quality customarily used for road construction
in Washington County and the State of Wisconsin, and, in addition,
the party dedicating the road shall deposit with the Town Treasurer
a sum sufficient to prepare the road for and to apply a second course
of bituminous concrete pavement of 1 1/2 inches in accordance
with the specifications prescribed by the Town Board. The second course
of bituminous pavement shall be applied by the Town Board after the
roadbed has settled for a period deemed sufficient by the Town Board
but not later than 12 months after the road is accepted. The sum to
be deposited shall be determined by the Town Board at the time the
road is presented for dedication.

It shall be unlawful for any person to plow, shovel or otherwise
deposit or place snow on the maintained portion of any public road
within the Town or to permit such depositing of snow from property
occupied by him or her.
Violations of this article may be enforced against either or
both the owner and occupant of the property from which the snow was
removed or the property adjacent to the highway where the snow is
found.
Any person found guilty of violating this article shall forfeit,
upon conviction thereof, not less than $50 nor more than $200, together
with the costs of prosecution, and, in default of payment of such
forfeiture and costs of prosecution, shall be imprisoned in the Washington
County Jail until said forfeiture and costs are paid, but not to exceed
30 days.
