Editor's Note: An ordinance adopted 3-20-1995, § 2, added provisions pertaining to election districts designated as Art. V, §§ 2-53 through 2-60. Former Articles V, VI and VII were subsequently renumbered as Articles VI, VII and VIII, respectively, so as to remain numerically correct.

The first ward shall consist of the area contained in the following election districts:
First district: from the Hudson River along the former Conrail right-of-way (south side only) to Dutchess Avenue; along Dutchess Avenue (west side only) to Mill Street; along Mill Street (west side only) to the Fallkill Creek; along the Fallkill Creek (south side only) to North Bridge Street; along North Bridge Street (west side only) to Mansion Street; along Mansion Street (south side only) to Civic Center Plaza; along Civic Center Plaza (west side only) to Mill Street; along Mill Street (south side only) to Catharine Street; along Catharine Street (west side only) to Main Street; along Main Street (north side only) to Rinaldi Boulevard; along Rinaldi Boulevard (west side only) to the northerly intersection of Gerald Drive; along Gerald Drive (north side only) to Route 44/55; along Route 44/55 (north side only) to the Hudson River; along the Hudson River to the former Conrail right-of-way.
Second district: from the former Conrail right-of-way along the Hudson River to the northerly City line; along the northerly City line to Washington Street; along Washington Street (west side only) to Mansion Street; along Mansion Street (north side only) to North Bridge Street; along North Bridge Street (east side only) to the Fallkill Creek; along the Fallkill Creek (north side only) to Mill Street; along Mill Street (east side only) to Dutchess Avenue; along Dutchess Avenue (east side only) to the former Conrail right-of-way; along the former Conrail right-of-way (north side only) to the Hudson River.
