The following are permitted uses in the C Commercial District:
A.
Any use permitted and as regulated in the R District.
B.
The following uses in an enclosed building:
(1)
Customary retail stores, including temporary display of food and
merchandise used in connection with a retail store.
(2)
Personal service shops.
(3)
Restaurants and other eating places.
(4)
Hotels, banks, credit unions and business and professional offices.
(5)
Undertaking establishment, mortuary, or funeral home.
(6)
Commercial recreation establishments.
(7)
Boat sales.
(8)
Motor vehicle sales, service or repair.
(9)
Laundry and dry cleaning plant.
(10)
Wholesale business and storage.
(11)
Shops for custom work, such as woodworking, plumbing, and electrical
trades, and the making of articles for sale on the premises, provided
that:

Building material supply and incidental millwork.
(13)
Monument works.
(14)
Feed and solid fuel storage.
(15)
Contractors equipment storage.
C.
Gasoline service station and/or public garage.
D.
Farm implement sales, service and rental, provided such implements
are stored within a fenced area or other suitable screening material
when located near or adjacent to residential uses. The Planning Board
shall have authority to review site plans for such uses before issuance
of a building permit and no permit shall be issued until approval,
in writing, is filed with the Code Enforcement Officer.
F.
Service buildings and storage yards, when enclosed by a fence of
opaque material at a height not to exceed six feet; provided, however,
a chain link fence with barbed wire above the six feet limit may be
erected by special use permit from the Planning Board.
The maximum height of buildings is 2 1/2 stories, not to
exceed 30 feet.
