[HISTORY: Adopted by the Mayor and Town Council of the Town
of Brentwood 2-7-1972 as Sec. 14 of Ord. No. II of the Ordinances
of the Town of Brentwood (Ch. 79 of the 1986 Code); amended in its
entirety at time of adoption of Code (see Ch. 1, General Provisions,
Art. I). Subsequent amendments noted where applicable.]
Mediums, clairvoyants, soothsayers, fortune-tellers or palmists,
by whatever name called, conducting business directly or indirectly,
when permitted to practice their calling in the Town of Brentwood,
shall pay a license tax as established by the Mayor and Council; provided
that no license shall be issued without the approval of the Mayor
and Town Council and/or the Town Administrator of the Town of Brentwood.
