As authorized by and in accordance with Section 355.010 of this Title, it shall be unlawful for the operator of a motor vehicle to stop, stand or park said motor vehicle at any one (1) time or instance or location, as designated herein, except when necessary to avoid a conflict with the directions of a Police Officer or traffic control sign or signal.

Table III-B. Limited Parking Zone

Washington Street, north side:
Between Fourth Street on the west and Third Street on the east.
Two (2) hour parking one (1) location without toll payment.
It shall be unlawful to park any vehicle in one (1) designated parking space for a period in excess of two (2) hours during the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 5:30 P.M., of each day; that every two (2) hours in excess of the original two (2) hour period shall be a separate violation—except that such two (2) hour parking shall not be in effect on Sundays and holidays recognized by the laws of the State of Missouri.
Fifth Street, west side:
At a point one hundred sixty (160) feet north of the intersection of Lewis and Fifth Streets; thence north twenty (20) feet to a point one hundred eighty-five feet north of the intersection of Fifth and Lewis Streets on the west side of Fifth Street.
Fifteen (15) minute parking only between 8:00 A.M.—6:00 P.M. Monday—Saturday.
Fourth Street, from the north line of Lewis Street on the south line of Clark Street on the north.
Two (2) hour parking between 8:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M. Monday—Friday. (This shall not be effective on weekends and holidays)
Lewis Street (north and south sides), from its intersection with the west line of Fourth Street on the east to the east line of Fifth Street on the west.

Table III-C. School Bus Loading Zone
Location
Washington Street between Third Street and Fourth Street shall be closed to all vehicular traffic except school buses during all times when passengers are being loaded onto or off school buses.

That such periods of closure above described will be posted by a barricade, with a sign attached, placed in a prominent position in Washington Street at its intersection with Third Street and Fourth Street.

Parking on the south side of Washington Street between Third Street and Fourth Street shall be for periods not to exceed two (2) consecutive hours at any one (1) time.

Table III-D. Controlled Parking Zone
A.
Definitions. All references in this Table to the following words and phrases shall be in accordance with the definitions of those words and phrases herein contained:
CONTROLLED PARKING ZONE: The controlled parking zone referred to in this Table shall be the following described property on the south one-half (1/2) of Madison Street:
Beginning at the northwest corner of the north fifty (50) feet of Lots Seven (7) and Eight (8) in Block Nineteen (19) in the Original Town, now City of Canton, Lewis County, Missouri; thence east one hundred thirty-four (134) feet to the west line of a north and south alley in said Block Nineteen (19).
SHORT-TERM PARKING: Parking limited to a maximum of five (5) minutes in the controlled parking zone for the loading or unloading of passengers only.
LONG-TERM PARKING: Parking during all times that short-term parking is not enforced.
LOADING ZONE TIME PERIOD: From 7:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. on each day that the Canton School District R-V is in session.
B.
Short-Term Parking. Only short-term parking shall occur in the controlled parking zone during the loading zone time period.
C.
Long-Term Parking Prohibited. There shall be no long-term parking in the controlled parking zone during the loading zone time period.
D.
Parallel Parking For Loading And Unloading. All loading and unloading in the controlled parking zone shall be done from and into a vehicle that is located parallel to the south side of Madison Street and out of the traffic flow on Madison Street.
E.
Parallel Parking For Long-Term Parking. All long-term parking within the controlled parking zone shall be parallel to the south side of Madison Street and out of the traffic flow on Madison Street.
F.
Violations. Any person convicted of violating the terms of this Table shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished as set forth in Sections 100.220 and 100.230 of the Municipal Code of the City of Canton, Missouri.

Table III-E. Parking Prohibited On Certain Days During Certain Times
A.
Parking Prohibited. On a portion of Fourth Street (Business Route 61) there shall be placed at the following locations in the City of Canton, Missouri, "No Parking" signs as shall conform to the Manual and Specifications approved by the Missouri State Highway Commission, prohibited all vehicular parking in the following described areas during the following specified times:
Fourth Street (Business Route 61), west side from its intersection with the south line of Washington Street (State Route B), southwardly to the north line of Madison Street.
Fourth Street (Business Route 61), east side from its intersection with the south line of Washington Street (State Route B), southwardly to the north line of Madison Street.
B.
The prohibition of parking as herein set forth shall apply at the following times and during the time of year as stated herein (1) During all times that the Canton R-V School shall be in operation and shall have students attending classes at the school; (2) The period of time during which the prohibition of parking shall occur shall be 7:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., Monday through Friday.
