The Board of Commissioners of Upper Gwynedd Township hereby
establishes a Park and Recreation Advisory Board as a permanent board
of the Township, the purpose of which shall be to assist the Board
of Commissioners in developing plans for recreational areas in Upper
Gwynedd Township and to perform such other duties and responsibilities
as the Board of Commissioners shall direct.
The Board shall be composed of nine members appointed by the
Commissioners, one of which shall be a Chairman and one of which shall
be a Secretary.
The initial terms of the nine Board members shall be from July
1, 2013 to December 31, 2013. Beginning January 1, 2014, five members
of the Board shall be appointed to an initial term of two years, expiring
December 31, 2015, and thereafter said members of the Board shall
be appointed to succeeding four-year terms. Beginning January 1, 2014,
the remaining four members of the Board shall be appointed to succeeding
four-year terms.
